 Research Consortiums

 

The LSUHSC School of Medicine has Research Consortiums which facilitate translational research and development for both industry and academia. These consortiums are groups of collborative faculty from not only the School of Medicine but other institutions in the LSU system and Greater New Orleans area. The consortiums streamline efforts to take research investigations from preliminary in vitro studies to in vivo preclinical and then clinical trials. Administrative approvals for studies are coordinated to allow for smooth transitions from one phase of research to another.
