What were you looking for in a residency program when you selected LSU?
Reflecting on my time spent as an away rotating student at LSU, I knew right away that this was a quality program that produced high caliber residents. Faculty are very invested in each resident's success. I could tell that the residents here develop a close relationship not only with one another but also with the staff members they work alongside. Exposure to SEC athletes and the network of patients that LSU treats in New Orleans as well as Baton Rouge and Lafayette provides an extremely well rounded educational experience. Most importantly, training at LSU will provide me with the skillset I need to enter the real world knowing how to operate.

What advice would you give to incoming residents?
Willingness to be a team player is crucial to success as a resident in this field. Be the resident that patients want to have and others want to work with.
