Former LSU Orthopaedic Faculty Member & LSU Offensive Lineman, Dr. Keith Melancon, Loses Battle With Brain Cancer

Today, we remember the life and legacy of Dr. Keith P. Melancon, who was, among many things, a great orthopaedic surgeon, an esteemed faculty member, and a fearsome offensive lineman for the LSU football team, class of 1986.

Dr. Melancon lost his 20-year battle with brain cancer, but his contributions to the LSU Department of Orthopaedics and beyond will live on. Our deepest condolences to the Melancon family.
